The team of “3 Cavalierros” is the winners of the big final in the LG Aegeanball Festival! Nikos Pappas of Panathinaikos, Giorgos Bogris of Iberostar Tenerife, Giannis Athinaiou of Olympiacos and Nontas Papantonioy of AEK prevailed over the LG Warriors.
Those were Giannis Bourousis of Panathinaikos, host of the 3X3 tournament in Syros, Greece and Olympiacos‘ star, Giorgos Printezis, Kostas Vasileiadis of AEK and retired former player and now coach Dimitris Papanikolaou.
Pappas, Bogris and Papantonioy had the advantage after being for years the members of the Greek 3X3 national team and they proved it by getting the 16-14 win.
However the point is that the LG Aegeanball Festival in its first edition was an amazing experience, attracted more than 1000 participants, many professional basketball players traveled all the way to Syros in order to enjoy the sport and also the Greek summer and the future is expected to be even bigger and better.
