The second coming of Pierre Jackson in the EuroLeague was more than impressive and more than enough for the Eurohoops MVP award.

MVP

Pierre Jackson

He is more mature than ever and he proved it by flirting with a triple-double. He scored 27 points on 5/5 threes, also had 7 rebounds and 9 assists for a total ranking of 41. It was an amazing performance that led Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv to the road win over Brose Bamberg (88-71).

Best Five

  1. Pierre Jackson: He proved that he can do much more than just score.
  2. Luka Doncic: The wondekid is back, leading Real Madrid to the road win over Anadolu Efes Istanbul (88-74). His stats (27 p., 9/14 FG, 4 r., 4 as.) were more than impressive and the 27 points are a new career-high in EuroLeague.
  3. Will Clyburn: CSKA Moscow needed him on the floor and he stayed out there for 37 minutes playing small ball. In the end, he had a double-double (15 p., 12 r. ) and his team got the win over AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano (93-84).
  4. Giorgos Printezis: Playing without Spanoulis and without injured Kim Tillie, he had to step up and he did just that with 17 points, 8/14 FG, 3 rebounds and 3 assists as Olympiacos Piraeus beat Baskonia Victoria Gasteiz (75-64).
  5. Kevin SeraphinHe dominated the paint against Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens. He finished the night with 24 points on 9/12 field goals and he also had eight rebounds and three blocks as FC Barcelona Lassa cruised to the 98-71 win.

Coach of the week: Joan Plaza

Unicaja Malaga managed to shock Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul (68-67) and the Spanish coach once again proved that he knows how to control the game. This time his team did it by getting the offensive rebounds – 16 against just four by Fenerbahce – and he gets the credit for preparing his unit so well before the game against the defending champs.

The last word: “Rookie” Robinson

In 15 minutes of action, he had 16 points and 6 rebounds. It’s obvious, that the former Laker is going to be more than a factor in the league and this was proven in his debut as Khimki Moscow Region beat Valencia (75-70).
