Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv saved the best for last with the addition of Tarik Black. The veteran big man after four seasons in the NBA moved to Europe, and he is expected to be among the marquee names of the EuroLeague.
Eurohoops caught up with him during the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament, which introduced him to the European basketball lore and as he said: “I wanted to live a new experience and broaden my horizons”. With a degree in “Organizational Leadership” he can be the guy who will lead Maccabi to the promised land?
He is ready to try, while still making a difference in Memphis with the “Tarik Black Foundation”. Here’s what he had to say about the late Pavlos Giannakopoulos and also the lessons that Kobe Bryant gave him during his stay with the Lakers.
