If you’re a frequent reader, you might as well know that Eurohoops brings you all domestic league action all weekend long (and not just then). Just hover over the national championships section on the top of the page to pick your favorite league!
This time around though, we will focus on single players that have managed to stand out throughout the rounds with their performances, regardless of their team’s result or league.
Let’s see which performances stood out this week! Disclaimer: you will see more guards than usual!
Anthony Clemmons – Astana (VTB League)

Astana managed to cause the biggest upset of the season so far to Zenit, thanks to a star performance by Clemmons, who finished the game with 26 points, 10 assists and two rebounds.
The American guard scored 13 out of his 26 points in the third quarter, pushing Astana to recover from a 19-point deficit and eventually clinch the victory.
Gian Clavell – Estudiantes (ACB League)

Estudiantes prevailed over Tenerife on the road, thanks to Gian Clavell’s 25-point performance, that also earned him the Day 5 MVP award in the League.
The Puerto Rican guard stepped up with 5 out of 9 from the three-point line, for an overall index rating of 23 points.
Beware, there’s plenty of spectacle in the video below:
Damian Kulig – Istanbul BBSK (BSL League)

Istanbul BBSK might have suffered defeat from Karsiyaka, though Polish forward Damian Kulig certainly left an impression with his massive 31-point performance, the highest in the league for Gameday 3.
Kulig was unstoppable from the three-point line (6/7), while he also added six boards for the hosts. Karsiyaka turned out to be the better team along the stretch, though it was a close game.
Brandon Davies – Zalgiris (LKL League)

Coming off from a double-game week in EuroLeague, Zalgiris needed to bounce back, and so they did! The job against Dzukja on Monday wasn’t that easy, though Brandon Davies definitely made it so in the end!
The American big man posted 20 points in this home victory (7/10 FG), along with five rebounds, shaping up 26 points of index rating, earning his spot in this week’s “Fab Five”.
