Bisons – Player Profile

This season Ian Hummer is playing for the Bisons. He is a left handed undersized PF who seems to have no opponent in VTB League. His size and quickness gives him great advantage against other PF as he can move much faster on the floor. Strong, explosive with very good dribbling, he is unstoppable when chooses to go on the left side.

“He scores every time he goes left. It’s incredible!”, was the reply of a friend currently playing in VTB League. However, scoring is not the only thing Ian Hummer can do on the floor, as he is one of the top 5 rebounders of the league and first in ranking! He definitely combines a number of unique characteristics you can rarely find on PF position.

On the other hand, there are some drawbacks in his game. His mid-range shot needs great improvement as Ian Hummer can be a danger almost exclusively in the paint. At this moment shooting from range is not among his choices.

pinak

Ian Hummer has a body of an SF playing as a PF though. As a result, sometimes he has problems in defense against bigger bodies. Last but not least, it would be good for him to start creating more for his teammates.

Future

Ian Hummer is 25 years old and has plenty of time to improve any single aspect of his game. His overall performance is impressive and he definitely deserves place in the roster of teams in higher level. During summer he will be one of the names in the market!
