One day after the reveal of Olympiacos’ interest for Giannis Athinaiou, the Greek guard was announced by the Reds for the next three years.
The 27 year-old guard who played in Ilisiakos, Panionios, KAOD, Aris, Armani Milano, Eskisehir and AEK and said after the announcement: “I’m very happpy that I’ll be also member of the huge Olympiacos‘ family. I want to thank the presidents and coach Sfairopoulos”.
