A rookie from the Gonzaga University is going to be the big gamble of Gran Canaria for the next season. Kevin Pangos signed a two year deal with the Eurocup finalists, after finishing his college career and averaging 11.6 points on 43.1% three-point shooting and 4.8 assists in 38 NCAA games last season. Pangos led his team to the NCAA Tournament elite eight and was chosen as the All-WCC Player of the Year, howeve Europe is quite different. The Spanish club also extended the contract of 33 years old forward Eulis Baez until the 2016-17 season.

In Lithuania, Neptunas Klaipenda extended the contract of Martynas Mazeika for two more seasons. In France, Le Mans reached an agreement with playmaker Tywain McKee (1.88 m., 29 years old) for next season, while in Italy Trento inked swingman Dominique Sutton (1.96 m,, 28 years old) also with a one year deal.

Meanwhile, Spanish club Bilbao and coach Sito Alonso reached a new extension agreement until the end of the 2019-20 season. The 39 years old Alonso is one of the most promising young Spanish coaches and the lenght of the extension is more than usual in Europe. Still Alonso has proved that he can build a competitive team with little resources.
