Ivica Zubac, one of the top prospects in Europe from the 1997 generation, is the new member of Cedevita Zagreb after leaving cross town rival Cibona.
The bad financial situation of Cibona was the reason for the decision of Zubac, since he was unpaid from Cibona for months. Before him two other young Croatian players, Lovro Mazalin and Marko Arapovic, left Cibona for Cedevita in recent years because of the same reason. Matej Matic, the sport director of Cedevita, confirmed the deal. According to Eurohoops sources, the young player signed a multiyear contract which includes multiple NBA buy out clauses, starting from the summer of 2016.
