SIG Strasbourg announced its second summer signing which is forward Pape Sy with a two year deal. The 28 years old French forward was drafted in the NBA by Atlanta with the 53rd pick in 2010 after playing in Havre from 2005 to 2010.
However, despite signing with the Hawks, he didn’t last long in the NBA, played just six games for them and was cut in 2011 and he returned to France for Gravelines. In the summer of 2012 he signed with Le Mans for two seasons, he returned to Gravelins in 2014 and now he is going to be a member of the French league finalists, who are also getting ready to play in the upcoming FIBA Champions League.
