21-year old French forward Paul Rigot is the newest transfer of Monaco, as the “Leaders Cup” holders announced.
Rigot had already joined the Monegasques for their preparation period, having also participated in a friendly match vs Charleroi. Coach Zvezdan Mitrovic liked what he saw from the young player, and decided to give him an opportunity for the upcoming season.
“He showed some interesting qualities in his game,” said the coach of Monaco. “He has to climb more steps though. Our plan with him is to watch him work hard this season and increase his playing time if he deserves it”.
Rigot comes from Orchies, a second division team in France, and has been an international with the country’s youth national teams.
