Kostas Kaimakoglou has a contract for next season with Unics Kazan, the club wants to cut its budget by 30% after missing the chance to play in Euroleague, however the Greek forward will remain in the club. The club also extended the contract of Valeriy Likhodey.
On the contrary, Unics wants to release or renegotiate the next season contracts of Keith Langford and Curtis Jerrels, who is injured and will return to the courts after the start of the season. Kaimakoglou despite rumors about him also leaving, decided to do the opposite and he is expected to have an even bigger role in the team.
