Unics Kazan and Zenit St. Petersburg retained a nearly spotless record in VTB League.

After suffering EuroLeague losses at home, both Unics Kazan and Zenit St. Petersburg resumed their VTB League action with strong performances and wins.

Unics defeated bottom-placed Tsmoki Minsk 92 – 72 to improve to 7-1 and remain the standings leader. Artem Klimenko had 12 points and five rebounds, Marco Spissu scored 14 as well while Jarrell Brantley produced 13 points plus seven rebounds for the winning side.

Jason Clark scored a game-high 20 points for Tsmoki that dropped to 1-7.

In St. Petersburg, Zenit crushed Enisey 89 – 66 to reach five wins in six games. Jordan Loyd had 15 points, Alex scored 14, Mateusz Ponitka finished, Jordan Mickey finished with 13 points plus seven rebounds and Mateusz Ponitka posted 13 points plus boards.

Darran Willis led Enisey (1-5 with 17 points.
