Johnathan Motley tied his season-high with 33 points and Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar forced Game 4 in the VTB United League semifinals after grabbing a 94-82 victory at home Tuesday.

Lokomotiv fought back after trailing by four points in the opening quarter (21-25) and a 33-point run in the second period provided the team with an advantage which they sustained for the entirety of the game to avoid a sweep.

Motley shot on 13-of-15 FG and also grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 2 assists to pace Loko to victory, while Jaylen Barford scored 14 points and 8 rebounds.

Adding up to the winners’ efforts, Errick McCollum registered a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists and Alexandr Shcherbenev followed with 11 points.

Will Clyburn scored 19 points for CSKA, Casper Ware added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Nikola Milutinov had 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Despite the defeat, CSKA still holds a 2-1 lead in the series and will look to seal a ticket to the finals in Game 4 (May 12, 18:30 CET, Krasnodar).
