Paris Lee penned a 1+1 contract with UNICS, the team announced on Monday.

After four consecutive years in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the 2025-26 journey will focus on the VTB United League with the team based in Kazan. His EuroLeague experience amounts to 128 games played, including 59 with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne over the last two seasons.

His efforts through the 2024-25 campaign translated into 8.3 points, 3.1 assists, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.8 steals per contest over 26 appearances, including 19 starts with the team coached by Pierric Poupet. Making his way to 34 domestic fixtures across French competitions, Lee added 10.7 points, 3.5 assists, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game.

Before penning a two-year contract with the French club, his introduction to Europe’s premier club continental competition was with AS Monaco during the 2021-22 edition of the EuroLeague. In the 2022-23 season, he moved his talents to Panathinaikos.

Playing in several European countries since 2017, the former Illinois State standout logged 44 appearances in the Basketball Champions League with Telenet Giants Antwerp and Brose Bamberg until 2020, and also played in six games of the 2017-18 edition of the FIBA Europe Cup with the Belgian club. After displaying his talents in Belgium and Germany earlier in his career, he spent the 2020-21 season with Orleans Loiret Basket in France.

Beyond the club level, the Illinois native represented Cameroon as a naturalized player in three games of the FIBA World Cup 2023 Qualifiers in 2022.
