After a season with LDLC ASVEL in the EuroLeague, former NBA player Andre Roberson is moving his talents to Zenit St. Petersburg of the VTB League, as reported by Artem Komarov. He signed a 1+1 contract, the team announced on Thursday.
Roberson joined ASVEL in November, after his first stint in European basketball with Cholet in France.
The 33-year-old appeared in 25 EuroLeague games with the Villeurbanne team, averaging 8.4 points and 6.2 rebounds.
He is now set to continue his career in Russia with Zenit, under head coach Aleksandar Sekulić.
Before Roberson, Zenit added Nenad Dimitrijević from Olimpia Milano and Levi Randolph from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
