As we have previously informed you, Avtodor Saratov is going to be the next station in the career of Zack Wright. The Russian club officially announced the addition of the 31 year old point guard, who is going to be a player of the VTB League team for the remainder of the season.
Wright began the season with Olimpija Ljubljana, having pretty solid performances in Eurocup with 12 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Avtodor Saratov took advantage of an option in the player’s contract with the Slovenian team, thus adding him to its roster.
“It is very difficult to sign a qualitative player at this point of the season, but we managed to do it” commented the president of Avtodor Saratov, mr. Vladimir Rodionov, adding that “Wright is a great, strong player who can help us diversify our game”.
The American point guard will make his debut with Avtodor Saratov in the VTB Leauge game against Tsomki Minsk on March 10.
