Artsiom Parakhouski scored an overall career-high 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Unics Kazan passed the obstacle of Avtodor Saratov 95 – 83 at home improving its record to 13 – 8 and getting closer to the top four of the standings.
This defeat pulled Avtodor further from the playoffs zone since the team now stands at the 10th spot with a 6 – 13 record. Vince Hunter’s double-double (22 points/10 rebounds) and Nick Minnerath’s 16 points plus 7 rebounds didn’t cut it for the team from Saratov.
Apart from Parakhouski’s extremely dominant performance, Quino Colom posted a double-double of 20 points/13 assists and Keith Langford added 23 points.
