Artem Komolov stunned Astana on Sunday evening in VTB by hitting a 3-pointer at the buzzer to push Nizhny Novgorod to a huge 79-78 home victory.
Despite Astana’s 5-point advantage with 30 seconds to go, a three-pointer by Strebkov and a solid defense gave the hosts the upper hand, with Komolov sealing the deal in the end.
Jake Odum tapped 15 points for the winning side, same as Stevan Jelovac, who also offered the following spectacular play, again at the buzzer:
