Kalev Cramo pulled off a huge upset thanks to Chavaughn Lewis.

Chavaughn Lewis scored 21 points, dished out seven assists and stole the ball four times to lead Kalev Tallinn to an 85 – 80 road win over powerhouse Lokomotiv Kuban in VTB League. Possibly the upset of the season so far in the 2018-2019 VTB and one of the biggest wins ever for Kalev in the league.

This result improved Kalev’s record to 2-4 while Loko dropped to 2-4.

It was Kalev that held the lead in the majority of the game until Loko first went up 64 – 63. The match became quite close and with the score 78 – 78 and three minutes left, Kalev had a 0 – 5 run that pushed them towards the win.

Apart from Lewis, Janari Joesaar scored 15 points and Kristijan Kitsing 14 for Kalev. Branko Mirkovic had 14 points and six assists.

Dmitry Kulagin (22 points, four assists, four boards) and Dorell Wright (18 points) stood out for Loko that suffered its second defeat in a row at home, including the EuroCup loss to Alba Berlin.
