CSKA Moscow stepped it up a notch in the third quarter dominating Tsmoki-Minsk on their way to a 119-88 home win in VTB United League.
Nando De Colo scored 15 points in 15 minutes of play and has done so without missing a shot (5/5 from the field). Mikhail Kulagin and Daniel Hackett added 15 points each as well.
For Tsmoki, D.J. Shelton scored game-high 17 points in addition to Vitali Liutych’ 15 points.
In a highly effective game, the hosts had a 33-24 lead after ten minutes and eventually went on the halftime rest with a 54-47 lead. The third quarter (39-15) proved to be crucial as CSKA went ahead 93-62 crushing Tsmoki’s resistance and holding the distance until the end for the win.
Earlier, Anthony Gill led Khimki Moscow Region to a win against Avtodor Saratov.
CSKA and Khimki remain the only undefeated teams with 8-0 records while Tsmoki is at the bottom with 1-6.
