Jalen Reynolds beat out two other centers, Lokomotiv Kuban’s JaJuan Johnson and CSKA’s Joel Bolomboy for the January MVP honor.
Zenit got three wins in January (vs. PARMA, Nizhny Novgorod and CSKA) and is in the chase for a top-three spot. The St. Petersburg side also handed CSKA their first defeat of the season in VTB.
Reynolds was a true leader on the court, averaging 16.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and a 24.7 efficiency rating (best in the League in January).
