It took two overtimes to decide the victor but eventually, Glenn Cosey nailed a game-winning triple to give VEF Riga a 102-101 road win over Zenit Saint Petersburg in VTB League.
Cosey notched a double-double with 21 points and ten assists but more importantly nailed four triples during the last three minutes of the game including the one with two seconds left that decided the winner.
Andris Misters also scored 21 points for Zenit followed by Artis Ate’s 17. On the other side, Jalen Reynolds had a great night with a double-double of 32 points and 11 rebounds while Codi Miller-McIntyre added 15 points.
Riga improved to 5-13 while Zenit now stands at a 10-6 record.
