CSKA Moscow bounced back from last week’s loss in VTB League and took down Zenit with an 83-73 victory in the game of the week.
Daniel Hackett and Nando De Colo paced the Moscow side with 15 points each, while Nikita Kurbanov dropped 12 points.
Jalen Reynolds was Zenit’s leading scorer, adding 14 points along with five rebounds.
CSKA had a strong start into the game and managed to improve to a 20-4 record in the standings, despite the St. Peterburg side’s comeback late into the second half.
Zenit now falls into a 14-8 record, a tie with Astana.
