Zalgiris Kaunas officially announced the return of Lithuanian sharpshooter Arturas Milaknis to the team.

Zalgiris Kaunas officially announced the return of Lithuanian sharpshooter Arturas Milaknis to the team after one year. The club also made known that it will activate the option in Australian forward/center Brock Motum‘s contract, to keep him for the upcoming season.

Milaknis spent the previous year in Russia, playing for Unics Kazan. He averaged 6.9 points per game in Eurocup and 7.8 points in VTB United League. He is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous 3-point shooters in the continent.

This will be the second consecutive season for Brock Motum in Zalgiris Kaunas. Currently in Rio with the Australian “Boomers”, he finished the 2015/2016 Euroleague, scoring 6.7 points and grabbing 2.8 rebounds per game.
