Dimitris Diamantidis wore the Green jersey with number “13” for the last time in Game 4 of the Finals against Olympiacos. After the match, the fans of the team bid farewell to their favorite captain, in a fashion worthy of the player’s splendor.
After the end of the game a sold-out OAKA arena began singing “Diamantidis – Diamantidis, oe oe oe” rhythmically. A bit later, outside of the locker room of Panathinaikos many fans of the team waited to hug him, while chanting his name.
Panathinaikos released a video, which was specially dedicated to Diamantidis’ “farewell” along with everything that took place after the final buzzer.
