Sergio Rodriguez belongs to the European elite of the point guards, he played in the NBA from 2006 until 2010 and he is open to a return this summer to the States.
Despite having a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2018, the 30 years old Rodriguez is probing the NBA market, as Eurohoops sources can confirm. However, according to the “Radio Estadio” show of the “Onda Cero” Spanish radio station, Rodriguez already informed Real Madrid that he is leaving for the NBA.

It remains to be seen how things will turn out, since there were also many similar rumors last summer. In any case, Rodriguez during the past few seasons is one of the best, if not the best, play makers of the Euroleague and finished the season as the top passer in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
