It was not easy but Galatasaray got the 78-72 win over Best Balikesir and with a 10-6 record remains 6th in the Turkish BSL standings.

Bruno Fitipaldo, who was aquired last month, was the star of the winners, taking things on his hands with 22 points and 5 assists, while making all his shots from the field. The hosts led at the end of the first quarter by four points (18-14) but after that Galatasaray turned things around and kept its distance until the end.  Vladimir Micov added 15 points for the winners and Alex Tyus had 11 points and 6 rebounds.

Ike Ofoegbu with 24 points and 13 rebounds was the best of the feisty hosts but his game was not enough is the team is second to last in the standings with a 2-14 record.
