Bryant Dunston has established himself as one of the best big men in Europe and that’s why he will not be a free agent this summer. Anadolu Efes moved fast and extended his contract for two more seasons.

The American big man has already a deal with his current club that will keep him in Istanbul until the summer of 2019. He also got a bigger salary, that makes him one of the highest paid EuroLeague center.

It’s just a matter of time for the deal to be official, however the point is that Dunston decided to stay in Efes and not test the market, despite the fact that there was interest from top EuroLeague clubs for him. Being almost 31 years old and after a career that included two seasons with Olympiacos, Dunston emerged as the two times winner of the EuroLeague defensive player of the year award, during his two seasons with the Reds.

He has also played in Korea for Mobis Phoebus, in Greece with Aris, in Israel with Bnei Hasharon and Hapoel Holon and in Italy with Cimberio Varese.
