Anadolu Efes and Serbian center Vladimir Stimac have agreed on a 1+1 deal according to Eurohoops sources.  The transfer is expected to be officially announced during the following days.

The 29-year-old player had been the primary target of the Turkish club to complement Bryant Dunston in the center position following an exceptional season with Besiktas during which he averaged 13.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in the Basketball Champions League plus 14.3 points and 9.6 rebounds in the Turkish League regular season.

He also posted 12.3 points and 9.5 rebounds in the BSL playoffs helping Besiktas reach the Finals for the first time since 2012.

Stimac, who is currently busy with the Serbian national team ahead of the EuroBasket, returns to EuroLeague after 2015-2016 when he played for Crvena Zvezda for his fifth season in the continent’s first-tier competition.
