The Brazilian guard left Barcelona during the summer of 2015 and until now he was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
As Andrian Wojnarowski reported, the player is expected to be send to the Houston Rockets in a trade with Tyler Ennis who is going to the Lakers. Huertas will be waived by the Rockets, just in time to land a deal in Europe. To be exact a EuroLeague team can sign a player until the 24th round of the regular season.
That means that there’s still time for Huertas to sign with a EuroLeague club. It remains to be seen if the 33 years old guard will return to the old continent.
