Partizan Belgrade destroyed FMP 88 – 57 to capture its fourth straight victory in the ABA League and improve to 17 – 6.
Balsa Koprivica led Partizan with 13 points and 10 rebounds. PJ Dozier produced 10 points plus five assists and Bruno Caboclo had 10 points plus five rebounds. Their team led from start to finish but established a large lead thanks to a 12 – 3 run in the second period thanks to which they closed halftime up 43 – 31. Zeljko Obradovic‘s players kept increasing their advantage after the break.
Jovan Novak scored 13 points for FMP, now 7 – 16.
Partizan has a crucial double-game EuroLeague week ahead with two matches at home vs. Baskonia (19/3) and Real Madrid (21/3). The Serbian side is tied at 13 – 16 with Valencia and Bayern Munich as all teams are competing for a spot in the Play-In tournament.
