After losing on the opening round, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet was in need of a win and they managed to get a comfortable one in ABA League’s round 2. Afer three straight victories in Euroleague, the team coached by Sasa Obradovic made it four in a row across all competitions after defeating Ilirija 101-87.
Chima Moneke had an amazing game, finishing with 21 p., 7r., 5a and 36 PIR in just 18:51 on the floor. Ojeleye (15p.) and Nwora (14p.) also helped making the win very easy.
Wendell Green (15 p. and 8 a.) and Tim Tomazic (17p., 5r. and 4 a.) were the guests best players.

Partizan gets the job done

It wasn’t easy, but Partizan finished the game against FMP with a narrow win 109-103.
After trailing for the whole game, Obradovic‘s team reacted on the fourth quarter to force overtime (90-90).
The five extra minutes were clearly favorable to the home team, that secured the second win of the season at ABA League.
Duane Washington was the local hero, finishing the game with 31 points and 5 assists.
Filip Barna, who missed the potentially game-winning triple at the end of regulation, ended the game with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
