Crvena zvezda secured a victory in the second round of Group A in the ABA League by defeating Buducnost, one of their biggest rivals, in Belgrade with a score of 101-91.
Jordan Nwora led Zvezda to victory with 24 points, David Kramer hit four three-pointers and finished with 16 points, Tyson Carter added 14, and Chris Jones contributed 13 points along with nine assists.
For Buducnost, Justin Smith had 18 points and nine rebounds, Stefan Djordjevic also scored 16 with nine rebounds, while Iverson Molinar and Djordjije Jovanovic each had 11 points.
After a shocking loss in the first round of the ABA League, Zvezda rebounded in the EuroLeague by defeating Dubai away, and now they have beaten Buducnost in the traditional spectacle between the two teams.
Although he started the game slowly, Jordan Nwora dominated in the second half, and at the beginning of the third quarter, Zvezda pulled away to a significant +18 lead (62-44), from which there was no return for Buducnost.
Crvena zvezda now faces a trip to France to face ASVEL in the EuroLeague, while Buducnost will visit Tofas in the BKT EuroCup.
