Real Madrid might be struggling on the road this season, but at the Movistar Arena, they continue to win.
Sergio Scariolo’s side defeated BAXI Manresa 87-75 in ACB League Round 4, thanks to a dominant performance from Edy Tavares. The Cape Verdean center recorded a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Usman Garuba was one rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with 12 points.
Facundo Campazzo also added 12 points, the same as Trey Lyles. For Manresa, Grant Golden scored 18 points, and Alejandro Reyes contributed 13.
Like Real Madrid, Valencia also emerged victorious in Round 4, defeating Joventut at home 102-90, with six players reaching double figures. Kameron Taylor led the way with 17 points, Jean Montero added 16, Nate Reuvers had 13, and Jaime Pradilla scored 12. Sergio De Larrea and Neal Sako chipped in 10 points each. Cameron Hunt stood out for Badalona with 28 points.
Baskonia, however, was not as fortunate, suffering another loss on the road to Murcia, 89-84. This marked their eighth defeat in 10 games this season, despite Kobi Simmons scoring 17 points, Rodions Kurucs adding 15, and Hamidu Diallo recording a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Former Maccabi Tel Aviv guard David De Julius led Murcia to victory with an unstoppable 25-point performance.
