After losing Game 3 and falling behind 1–2 in the Bundesliga Finals, Bayern Munich made a comeback and successfully defended their crown.

Gordon Herbert’s side defeated Ratiopharm Ulm in the decisive Game 5 with a final score of 81–77, securing their seventh German championship.

Devin Booker led the winning side with 19 points, while Shabazz Napier followed with 15. Johannes Voigtmann added 13 points, and Andy Obst also finished in double figures with 10.

As for Ulm, which was without Noa Essengue—who left for the NBA Draft and was selected 12th overall by the Chicago Bulls—Karim Jallow stood out with 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Justinian Jessup contributed 11 points. Tobias Jensen and Alfonso Plummer added 10 points each.

Ben Saraf, who stayed with the team despite also being selected in the first round of last night’s NBA Draft (26th overall by the Brooklyn Nets), couldn’t make an impact, scoring just two points for the losing side.
