Eurohoops team needs forwards, so we have to get back to safe choices. Enter Keith Langford of EA7 Milano, Viktor Khryapa of CSKA Moscow and Stratos Perperoglou who during the absence of Spanoulis and maybe Printezis has a lot to do for Olympiacos

According to the latest trends in the Euroleague fantasy, there are plenty of point guards and big men who shine regularly, but there is lack of forwards. The task to find four solid players in the perimeter is really tough. For example, Delaney is in a slump and Weems doesn’t make the difference we would want to. So, we sell both of them from the Eurohoopsnet team. The third one who will sell is Krstic whose brightest days in the fantasy challenge seem to belong to the past.

After all, if you take a look among the top rated in the last three games, you will find just two forwards (Langford and Simon) among the first 16 player (there are also five point guards and nine big men)! We have Simon and we will pick Langford betting that he will keep playing great. Keith is having an excellent Top16 and he is the most expensive player in the fantasy.

The second new forward is Stratos Perperoglou who has doubled his numbers in comparison with last season’s Top 6. Ιn Barcelona he must score again for missing Spanoulis and maybe he should cover also Printezis’ absence. To understand how impressive is Perperoglou in the Top16, he has 12,3 points and 11,4 ranking per game this season and had 5 points and 3,3 ranking per game last season. At the end, our choice from the front line is Viktor Khryapa. The Russian leader of CSKA came back last week; he will play more and can bounce back in big numbers.

UPDATE: Krunoslav Simon is knock down for the upcoming game of Lokomotiv Kuban and we must leave him away. Our plans don’t change a lot, because Sony Weems, who has similar price, will stay in the roster.

Enjoy fantasy!

Points Guards
Sergio Rodriguez 78,1 credits (-0,4)

He’s a machine. He lays everything on the court and gives fantasy points even in games in which Real Madrid is safe from the start and he doesn’t have to play a lot.

Sergio Llull 53,5 credits (-1)
Germans who run ‘n gun vs the kings of run ‘n gun! The “Madridistas” should have really high numbers in the perimeter in Munich and Lllull is key player on that.

Shooting Guards/Small Forwards
Keith Langford 82,2 credits

Until last summer, he was the ultimate scorer. Now he’s scorer, who passes well and reads the game perfectly. His worst ranking in the last eight games is a 15 ranking.

Sony Weems 54 credits (+0,3)
He’s CSKA’s cornerstone in transition offense and still the most reliable player in the Top 16. He should help in Hala Pionir also.

Rudy Fernandez 75,3 credits (-0,7)
During the Top 16, he’s quiet but effective; except an impressive 30 ranking game vs Bayern. Who’s Real’s next opponent? Bayern! That explains everything.

Stratos Perperoglou 47,7 credits
In the last two games Spanoulis is injured. And Perperoglou scored 17 and 22 points having 19 and 22 ranking respectively. In Barcelona the captain will be out again. So, is Stratos a smart move or not?

Power Forwards/Centers
Ante Tomic 70,5 credits (+1,7)

He’s just impressive during the last month. His average score (28,75) in the last four games talks itself. Only Shermadini can match up with the Croatian but he can’t stop him.

Joffrey Lauvergne 64,7 credits (+0,3)

Against CSKA’s big guys? The easy answer for him is: “sell him!”. But his three previous scores against the Russians are: 19,12, 20. So, he stays…

Kyle Hines 58 credits (+0,8)
He proved last week that he can give permanently big scores though he isn’t a focal point of his teammates in the offense.

Viktor Khryapa 48,9 credits
He has the second best ranking among CSKA players after Krstic in the Top 16. He’s productive even when he doesn’t score a lot. So, he’s still cheap…
