Serbia concluded their preparation stage ahead of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 with their seventh consecutive victory, dismantling Slovenia 106-72 and looking unstoppable.
Nikola Jovic was Serbia’s best protagonist against Slovenia, finishing with 18 points and 7 rebounds.
He was followed by Bogdan Bogdanovic (14 points over 4/5 from three) and Nikola Jokic (10 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists).
On the losing end, Luka Doncic had 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. However, the Los Angeles Lakers‘ superstar also struggled shooting at 4/18 from the field.
Serbia is set to be the frontrunner of the whole competition, starting from the Group Phase in Riga, where they will face Latvia, Portugal, Turkiye, Estonia, and Czechia.
Slovenia, instead, will try to find its way into the knockout stage from Katowice, where it will play Group D action against Poland, France, Belgium, Iceland, and Israel.
