Riga, Latvia – Serbia started their second game at the 2025 EuroBasket against Portugal on the wrong foot, with Filip Petrusev being ejected early on.
Nikola Jokic and his teammates managed to stay in front of a feisty Portugal team until halftime, with Bogdan Bogdanovic scoring seven points.
However, the Serbian captain suffered an injury in the final minutes of the second quarter, went to the bench, then to the locker room, and did not return to the court for the second half.
The problem seems to involve his hamstring, and the seriousness of his injury will be determined after tests scheduled for Saturday, as per a report from Meridian sport.
