Virtus Bologna has just let go of coach Aleksandar Djordjevic and aims to recruit an elite coach for their bench (Obradovic, Banchi and Scariolo being the main candidates), but there is one more issue arising within the team.
Guard Stefan Markovic is on the exit door, according to reports by Donatas Urbonas after one and a half seasons with the club. 32-year-old Markovic criticized the team’s decision to waive Djordevic on his social media on Monday.
So far in the 2020-21 season, the Serbian guard posts an average of 3.7 points, 5.8 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 23 minutes across 6 7DAYS EuroCup contests.
