Kendrick Ray and Abdul Gaddy are expected to be the two starting guards of Promitheas Patras in the upcoming season. Gaddy has been announced by the club on Friday (July 16) while, according to Eurohoops sources, Ray has also signed with the Greek club and the official confirmation is pending.

Ray played in Greece during the 2019-20 season for AEK and then the 27-year-old player spend last season played in Turkey with Pektim where he averaged 15 points and 4.5 assists per game.

Gaddy is 29 years old and plays in both guard positions. He also played in Greece last year for Peristeri, but only for five games (7.4 ppg, 3.8 apg, 2.6 rpg) before moving to Israel for Bnei.

With Spanish coach Luis Casimiro onboard, Promitheas is creating a new roster and a new project almost from scratch.
