Balsa Koprivica moves from Partizan to Bahcesehir
After announcing that Haltali is staying, Bahcesehir confirmed a new reinforcement, signing Serbian center Balsa Koprivica.
The 25-year-old former Florida State player joins Coach Barać’s team after spending four seasons with Partizan, during which he won two ABA League titles and a Serbian championship.
Koprivica will now play in the EuroCup with Bahcesehir and brings experience from 36 EuroLeague appearances. In the ABA League this past season alone, he played in 29 games, averaging 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds.
Yogi Ferrell to stay with Buducnost
The first summer move for Buducnost VOLI was retaining 32-year-old Yogi Ferrell with a one-year contract extension, as announced on Thursday afternoon. The experienced floor general is set for a third season with the team based in Podgorica.
A two-time champion in Montenegro, Ferrell will add to a total of 59 appearances in the BKT EuroCup and also continue in the AdmiralBet ABA League. Since moving his talents to Europe in 2021, he also played in five Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games with Panathinaikos, early in the 2021-22 edition of Europe’s premier club continental competition. From the Greens, he joined Cedevita Olimpija for the next two years and recorded 32 of his EuroCup games.
Coming out of Indiana and entering the NBA as an undrafted rookie in 2016, Ferrell logged 268 NBA games with the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets, and Cleveland Cavaliers before expanding his career overseas.
