The moves of the day in the BKT EuroCup

By Eurohoops team / info@eurohoops.net

Just one day after bringing Tautvydas Sabonis to their bench, the London Lions have made their first signing of the summer official by adding Ryan Mikesell.

The American forward is joining from Heidelberg, where he averaged 15.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game in the 2024-25 Bundesliga, reaching the Semi-Finals against Bayern Munich.

Previously, he played in Europe with Dragons Rhöndorf in Germany, Elan Chalon and Le Portal in France; for the first time in his career, the 28-year-old will play in the United Kingdom.

For one player who leaves Germany, there’s another one who will continue in the Bundesliga, but changing teams, going to replace the departing Marcio Santos in ratiopharm Ulm.

It’s the 27-year-old American center Malik Osborne, who moves to the German runner-up from Rostock, where he experienced a solid season by averaging 12.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

Both players will debut in the BKT EuroCup for the first time in their career since moving overseas.
