U-BT Cluj-Napoca has signed 33-year-old Australian swingman Mitchell Creek, a proven scorer with international experience, for the 2025–26 BKT EuroCup season.
Last season, he averaged 21.5 points per game with Trabzonspor in Turkey’s second division, shooting 45.1% from three and helping lead the team to the league title. He is currently playing in Canada with Vancouver, averaging 22.9 points per game on 42.9% three-point shooting.
Creek spent much of his career in Australia’s NBL with Adelaide 36ers and South East Melbourne Phoenix, earning All-NBL First Team honors in 2023. He also had NBA stints with the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves and played in China.
With experience on the Australian national team at the 2019 World Cup, Creek is expected to bring leadership, scoring, and toughness to the Romanian champions as they prepare for ABA League debut and a strong BKT EuroCup run.
