Returning to Europe following his spell with Fenerbahce Beko during the 2024-25 season, 27-year-old Skylar Mays joined Buducnost VOLI in the BKT EuroCup. His arrival was officially announced on Thursday.

After averaging 3.7 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest over 14 appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with the eventual champions, he finished the 2024-25 journey in the G League with the Iowa Wolves. Earlier in his career, the explosive combo guard logged 114 NBA appearances, spread between the Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers.

On Friday, Aris added to the 2025-26 roster with 26-year-old Jake Forrester, another newcomer to the second tier of Euroleague Basketball. The former Saint Louis, Temple, and Indiana center in the NCAA penned a one-year contract with an option for a second season.

The Montenegrin club was drawn in Group B, while the Greek club fit in Group A of the next EuroCup Regular Season. Navigating respective 18-game double-legged round-robin schedules, both sides will be looking to qualify for the postseason, with the top two seeds of each group advancing directly to the Quarterfinals and the teams ranking third through sixth moving into the Eighthfinals.

In Round 1, Aris visits Umana Reyer Venice in Palasport Taliercio on September 30, and Buducnost starts against the London Lions in Copper Box Arena on October 2. The Regular Season lasts until February, followed by single-elimination Eighthfinals and Quarterfinals fixtures, leading to best-of-three series deciding the Semifinals and Finals.
