PAOK has secured the services of 29-year-old Canadian center Kyle Alexander, according to Eurohoops sources.
Strengthening its roster for the upcoming 2026-27 BKT EuroCup season, the Thessaloniki outfit added a seasoned interior defender to the squad. The 2.08-meter big arrives following a productive stint with Turk Telekom, where he established himself as a premier rim protector by leading the competition with 2.2 blocks per game in the 2024-25 edition of Euroleague Basketball’s second-tier competition. During his 2025-26 campaign, he maintained solid averages of 9.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per contest.
With professional experience spanning 58 career EuroCup games, the native of Scarborough, Ontario, brings a significant international pedigree to the Greek side. His continental resume also includes 27 appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague as a member of Valencia during the 2022-23 season. Representing Canada, the mobile center has been a consistent contributor to the senior national team, notably capturing a bronze medal at the FIBA World Cup 2023.

Alexander’s extensive journey began in the collegiate ranks, where he played four seasons for Tennessee between 2015 and 2019. Despite going undrafted, he broke into the 2019-20 NBA Regular Season by signing with the Miami Heat and making his way to two appearances, while also logging developmental minutes with their G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He transitioned overseas for the 2020-21 calendar year to join Urbas Fuenlabrada in Spain’s Liga Endesa, briefly returning across the Atlantic in 2022 to suit up for the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the CEBL. He later returned to Europe for consecutive runs with Valencia, Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, and Turk Telekom before finalizing his move to Greece.
