The BKT EuroCup offseason has intensified with a wave of significant roster moves across the field, headlined by Aleksa Avramovic joining Bahcesehir Koleji. The 31-year-old Serbian combo guard returns to Euroleague Basketball’s secondary tier following a 69-game EuroLeague stint, which included 22 appearances last season with Dubai.
Under the guidance of head coach Sasa Djordjevic, the ambitious Istanbul outfit is confirming its championship intent. Avramovic injects elite veteran poise into a revamped backcourt that recently welcomed newcomers David DiLeo, Isiaha Mike, and Marcquise Reed. Furthermore, the front office successfully locked down its core by finalizing contract extensions for eight key contributors, including Tyler Cavanaugh, Malachi Flynn, Mateusz Ponitka, and Trevion Williams.
In another major Thursday development, Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos made a splash by inking Retin Obasohan to a one-year contract. The 33-year-old Belgian playmaker makes his return to both the EuroCup and Spain’s Liga Endesa. Obasohan transitions to Burgos after spending his prior season competing with BAXI Manresa, bringing robust veteran leadership and proven backcourt depth to his new employers.
Meanwhile, Lietkabelis bolstered its frontcourt by acquiring rising talent Gytis Nemeiksa on a temporary loan for the 2026–27 season. Although the 24-year-old Lithuanian forward penned a long-term, three-year commitment with domestic rival Rytas, this relocation assures him immediate playing time in Panevezys.
Also, PAOK is set to finalize the high-profile acquisition of Cedi Osman on Sunday. The Greek club plans to unveil the Turkish forward in an official introductory press conference on Monday.
