Hapoel Jerusalem officially announced the signing of Shake Milton for the upcoming season.
The 29-year-old American guard joins the team coached by Sasa Obradovic after spending the 2025-26 campaign with Partizan Belgrade, his first club outside the NBA.
“I’m very excited and happy to join Hapoel,” Milton said. “I’ve heard a lot about the club, the amazing fans and the special atmosphere, and I can’t wait for the season to begin. I’m coming with a lot of hunger and passion, ready to fight for every ball, every play and every point to help the club achieve its goals. Let’s do great things together. Yalla Hapoel!”
Milton averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 assists and 1.4 rebounds in the EuroLeague with Partizan. He also posted 12.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game in the ABA League.
“We are very happy to add Shake,” Obradovic said. “He arrives with extensive experience from the best league in the world, and we have no doubt that he will contribute significantly. His versatility, shooting, ability to create his own points and involve his teammates will provide a major boost for us.”
Before moving to Europe, Milton spent seven seasons in the NBA and appeared in 359 regular-season games, averaging 8.1 points, 2.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers.
