Olympiacos is ready to ink NBA prospect, Lefteris Mantzoukas, to a multiyear contract, according to Eurohoops sources.
An exciting lookout coming out of Promitheas fresh off debuting in the 7DAYS EuroCup before turning 17. The young Greek forward through six EuroCup games of the shortened 2019-20 season posted 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per appearance.
His 2019-20 run also included an ANGT single-game scoring record with 49 points for the U18 squad of Promitheas against the U18 team of ALBA Berlin. Overall, he averaged 32 points per contest for the tournament.
At the of 14, Mantzoukas debuted in Greece’s top-tier division, Basket League. By the age of 15 made his first appearance in the Basketball Champions League.
His first-ever start in Greece’s league came against Olympiacos, on 24 May 2017. Besides becoming the youngest starter in league history, he put up 12 points over 31 minutes.
