The next season will once again feature Vasilije Micic as a member of Anadolu Efes, his agent Misko Raznatovic noted on Monday.

The 26-year-old Serbian point guard joined the Turkish powerhouse in 2018 and in 2019 penned a two-year contract extension running through the upcoming 2020-21 season. His NBA rights belong to the Philadelphia 76ers since the organization picked him 52nd overall in the 2014 draft.

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, a move to the NBA and the 76ers was extremely likely but conditions have since changed and he opted to remain with Efes for the next season rather than postponing a decision regarding his future. Micic himself recently explained his two options were to stay with his current team or move on to the NBA.

The Turkish outlet is moving towards the next season retaining the vast majority of the 2019-20 squad. Shane Larkin is among the players tabbed for the 2020-21 season prompting the dynamic and successful backcourt duo for one more run alongside each other.

Rodrigue Beaubois, Bryant Dunston, Tibor Pleiss, Sertac Sanli, Krunoslav Simon, Chris Singleton, and Bugrahan Tuncer inked contract extensions, and Erten Gazi was added to Ergin Ataman’s roster.
