Tarik Black officially becomes a free agent after the conclusion of his contract with Zenit Saint-Petersburg, as announced by the team on Tuesday. He has been included in our Top 10 free agents still available in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Black, 29, joined the Russian club in January and quickly re-established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the EuroLeague. He especially reinforced the defensive strength displayed throughout the season by the players led by Xavi Pascual. His 5.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 0.4 assists per game made out his third EuroLeague run.

In addition, he made his way to 12 VTB United League matches. He averaged 9.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per appearance.

The veteran of 227 NBA games between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets previously logged a couple of EuroLeague campaigns attached to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
